   Proposal Description:
   Hypertension (HTN) and diabetes (T2M) are vascular risk factors that are known to affect the integrity of systemic blood vessels in the human body. We aim to describe and quantify their effects on cerebral blood vessels in the aged brain. We are attempting to design an approach to operationalize severity of HTN and T2M. Our model will contain clinical values, drug status, medical histories of target organ diseases, and neuropathological results.  We will use this model to categorize the severity status of HTN and T2D in subjects in order to study cerebral small blood vessel pathology. We ask for longitudinal clinical UDS data for all subjects in the dataset. UDS information is to include initial visit information and follow-up visit information up to December 2013.
